Jour Fixe - a weekly online discussion group meeting

Our biweekly "Jour Fixe" on health issues related to micro- and nanoplastic exposure was initiated by scientists from the Montanuniversität Leoben and the Medical University of Vienna during the first lockdown of the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic.

It serves as a multidisciplinary discussion and networking group for scientists and stakeholders interested in health issues related to micro- and nanoplastic particles (MNP).

The aspects discussed cover a wide range of research fields, e.g.,

  • analytical chemistry (detection and measurement of MNP),
  • allergy
  • immunology
  • pathology
  • biomedicine
  • but also material science aspects of polymers.

The JF starts every Wednesday at 12:00 local time (Leoben, Vienna, Berlin, Budapest).

Please apply to Thomas Meisel (Montanuniversität Leoben) if you would like to take part in the discussion group.
